How to setup email forwarding in your mailbox (Office 365)

You can automatically forward or redirect your email messages by setting up Inbox rules. This is useful if you want to read and respond to messages from another email account or when you want someone else to receive and respond to your email in your absence.

Setup the forward using the Web interface

1. Using a web browser, log into your Taylor mailbox ( )

2. At the top of the page, click on the Settings icon (the small gear): 

3. When the Settings window opens, scroll to the bottom and click on the “View all Outlook settings” link

4. Select Mail then Forwarding

5. Check the Enable forwarding checkbox, enter the forwarding email address in the textbox, and select Save.


If you want a copy of the original message to remain in your mailbox, select Keep a copy of forwarded messages.
