Parking - Obtain Parking Permit
Follow the steps below to obtain a parking permit (You will need to add a vehicle first)
- Once your changes have been saved, go to the Permits tab and click on the permit you want to obtain.
- Once you ensure that the permit information is correct, select Reserve Permit
- Select Continue to Checkout
- Select Submit Payment
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete any needed payment and you should get a confirmation screen at the end. Make sure you complete the full steps and get the confirmation screen.
Faculty & Staff - repeat the Permit steps above for every vehicle on your account (to receive multiple parking permits).
Students – only one vehicle can be active at a time.
Contact Police@taylor.edu for questions.
Verify Information:
- If you return to the Home tab, you should see the vehicle and permit information you added.
- Your vehicle is now registered to park at Taylor University. A parking sticker will be sent to you through intercampus mail.
Adding another vehicle:
- If you need to temporarily use another vehicle on campus (i.e. if your vehicle is in the shop) click Add New Vehicle, enter the new vehicle’s information, and mark it as Active. This will automatically switch your previous vehicle to Inactive.
- Important note: For Students, only one vehicle can be active at one time. Ensure the vehicle you have on campus is the active vehicle to avoid violations. If a vehicle marked ‘inactive’ is seen on campus, it is subject to receiving a violation.
- Faculty & Staff can have multiple active vehicles at one time, but you should request the same number of permits as you have active vehicles, and the Taylor police department will send you the parking sticker for your window in the mail
- When you need to remove the temporary vehicle, mark it as Inactive and then click Remove.
- Important note: You will be unable to remove the vehicle if it is marked as Active or if the vehicle has any past violations associated with it.
