How do I update my windows computer?

Microsoft Updates

1. Enter Updates in the search field located in the lower-left corner of the screen
2. Select Check for Updates
3. Click on the link Check online for updates from Microsoft Update
4. If there is an Optional quality update available, please click Download and Install
5. Click View optional updates
   1. Click the drop-down button on Driver Updates and please check all of the boxes 
   2. Click Download and install
6. Click Restart Now after the updates have been downloaded and installed - it will say Pending Restart
7. I recommend checking for updates at least twice a month to ensure applications and security are up to date

As an encouragement, try to do this twice a month for Microsoft Updates on your computer as it will help your computer run smoothly.
